Flatwork

Flatwork is any flat concrete surface — like driveways, patios, sidewalks, or garage floors. It’s the foundation of most outdoor spaces, and when it’s done right, it looks great and lasts for years. We use quality materials and the right techniques to pour smooth, durable concrete that holds up to weather, traffic, and everyday use.

Remove & Replace

Let's be real: you don't want to waste one more minute thinking about concrete. But you know if you shovel your driveway one more time you are going to have a crater instead of a driveway. That's why we're here! We have all the skills and equipment to get the job done, without the hassle.

"Spencer told me what they going to do, the sequence they would follow to do it and when they would get started and complete the sequence of steps. He and his crew showed up when he said he would and accomplished the steps in the timeframe he said he would. He kept me appraised as to what he was doing, checked with me before he left my place at night and told me what time he would be back the next day and what he would be doing. Sure enough, he and his crew were back the next day at the time he said. Then they set about accomplishing the tasks he said they would. He and his crew were pleasant, easy to talk to, glad to answer any questions I had. They cleaned up the work area daily after they finished their work and left the area looking really good." - D. Post Tensioned Concrete

Post tensioning is a method of strengthening concrete with steel strands. The strands are mechanically tightened as the concrete cures, placing it into a state of compression. This compression greatly reduces cracking, therefore no break joints are needed. Any cracks that do form are held tightly together. According to the American Sports Builders Association, post tensioned concrete is the ideal building material for outdoor sport courts.

Concrete Sealing

Concrete is an investement! Sealing your concrete regularly is a great way to protect your investment. Concrete might look solid, but it’s actually porous — meaning it can soak up water, oil, and other things that cause stains or damage over time. Sealing your concrete keeps that moisture out which helps prevent cracking, spalling, and other issues that come with our big temperature swings. It also adds a layer of protection against everyday wear from vehicles, salt, and chemicals. In short, sealing helps your concrete stay stronger, look better, and last longer.

FAQ

Why does concrete crack?

Concrete cracks when it is under stress. All concrete is under stress at some time.

We groove or cut break joints in the concrete to encourage the cracks to form there, where they are unseen.
